Santa Baby

My boys were born in the same season, so it has been a blessing for Little Man to be able to wear all of his big brother's hand-me-downs. And that means all of the cute holiday outfits too!

Here is Buddy as "Santa Baby" back in 2008.

And here is Little Man from our "photo shoot" earlier today.

He wasn't too keen on wearing the hat.

And he liked to pull the ornaments off of the tree.

Monday, we went out to spend the day at Stone Mountain, which is an awesome place to visit at Christmas. I tried using the tripod and timer to take a family picture. I learned that it is next to impossible to get a 10 month old to look at the camera and a 2 1/2 year old to smile naturally. But I love the picture anyway! 

I got some beautiful night shots of the Christmas lights in the village...

And a cool picture of the big Christmas tree with the tree on top of the mountain in the background...

And I read this post the other day on how to get "bokeh" in a photograph and tried one out with my Christmas tree.

And my sweet hubby was reading my Christmas wishlist post and saw that I wanted the Mom*Tog Photography UNmanual. He also saw that it was $95. Yikes! So, being the savvy shopper that he is, he did a little internet searching and found me this great set of photography lessons for FREE! 

I sure have been having fun with my camera this Christmas!
