Hey friends! Thanks for not giving up on me yet. I promise that I am almost finished with the new blog. I have been working hard on learning Wordpress and playing around with the theme design to give the new space the right look and feel. I am a very visual person, so the blog aesthetic is very important to me.
This time away has been good for me in a lot of ways. I have been reading a lot of great books by writers I admire, and I have been writing just for the sake of writing and finding my voice.
It is very freeing to simply just write for the sake of writing and it has helped me process through a lot of things. I had originally envisioned the new blog with one specific purpose and theme. But through writing and deleting and reshaping and deconstructing and starting all over again, the idea and theme of the new space has grown into something more original and true to who I am.
I plan to publish my first post on Monday, September 10, and will also publish a post here at Naturally Chic Mama directing you over to the new site. This will give me another week of planning and preparation, plus I have my annual ladies retreat at my church September 7-9 that I am in charge of, so I am going to be busy, busy, busy this week with all of the last minute details.
I am excited about the week of September 10! After the retreat, I am passing on the torch of our Women's Ministry over to our new pastor's wife. I am turning 32 on the 13th. I might cut my hair off...still thinking about that one. I am entering a new season of my life and I am excited to share my journey with you.
