I have been wanting to redecorate the dining area of my kitchen for a while now. When we moved into this house 8 months ago, I was very pregnant with Little Man and we just moved our stuff in, hung a few pictures and that was that.
Last Sunday, I really got bitten by the decorating bug and started searching Craigslist for a new table and chairs. My timing was perfect, because somebody had just listed this table and four chairs for FREE! I love the table and saw great potential for the chairs.
On a little shopping trip at Goodwill, I found this curtain and vase. I decided they would be my design inspiration.
I was also looking at some pictures on Smile and Wave and totally fell in love with her wall.
I matched up some paint to the blue vase and my sweet hubby got started painting. We recovered the chairs with the red curtain and...I love it!!!

- Clipboards - $12
- Printing photographs - $10
- IKEA Chandelier - $40
- IKEA Dish Towels - $5
- Everything else I already had!

It is the dining area I have dreamed of for quite some time now and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results.
