A Sewing Basket for a Little One

Buddy has been invited to a birthday party for a little friend of his who is turning 2. Since I took the handmade pledge, I had to get creative in my planning for her gift. Inspired by this, I decided to make her a sewing basket.

I had the kids paint up some cereal boxes, so I could make some more sewing cards. Buddy also loves to string beads, so I found her some great wooden beads at our local craft store and made a little pouch for her to keep them in.

In addition to the sewing cards and beads, I added some ribbons and buttons for her to play with. I hope she likes playing with her sewing basket as much as Buddy likes his.
